Health impacts of climate-change related natural disasters on persons with disabilities in developing countries: A literature review
This review explores the disproportionate health impacts of climate-related disasters on persons with disabilities in developing countries. It highlights increased physical, mental, and social health challenges due to extreme weather events, exacerbated by barriers like inaccessible infrastructure, lack of inclusive planning, and limited healthcare access. The review calls for inclusive climate adaptation and disaster strategies to address these vulnerabilities.
